Following the critically acclaimed Gigi’s Restoration and their debut album, 2019’s After I Have Fears, Blindness is the vividly realised, clear-sightedly formidable new album from The Homicide Capital. A file that’s each momentous and charged with momentum. That’s filled with geography – of the thoughts, and of a Dublin-formed band whose members are actually scattered round Eire, London and Europe – but bristles with the extreme vitality of an album finely wrought in three pacy weeks within the studio in Los Angeles. The album finds the band re-energised after earlier years of heavy touring after recording the album in LA with the Grammy-award-winning producer John Congleton who the band beforehand labored with on Gigi’s Restoration.
