Vocalist LOÏC ROSSETTI Publicizes Departure from THE OCEAN

I swear there must be one thing within the air – between drummers getting fired, rehired, and then fired once more, and making Instagram posts itemizing the doable causes they may have been laid off – plenty of bands are going by a significant structural change.

And the German band The Ocean is not any totally different.

First, they introduced the departure of Paul Seidel, their drummer (becoming) in February, Ramis Ahfeldt, their guitarist was subsequent and left earlier this month, with the vocalist Loïc Rossetti now following of their footsteps.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Rossetti introduced that he was leaving the band and wished all of them one of the best.

After virtually 20 years because the band’s frontman, he stated the choice was his and that he not creatively aligns with the band, which is sensible given the period of time he spent in The Ocean.

This determination is mine. Over time, our visions and artistic paths naturally drifted. With out diving too deep into it, I’ve realized I’m not meant to be a part of this explicit dynamic. No drama, simply heading in several instructions.

The Ocean will stick with it, and I want them properly. I’m happy with what we constructed. Massive because of Robin, my bandmates, each crew member, my spouse and household and everybody who helped make this journey doable.

As for me, I’m diving into one thing new and bringing all this vitality with me. I’m stoked for no matter insanity comes subsequent.
