Video Premiere: No Apologies – “Grief”

Sydney, Australia hardcore/crossover quintet, No Apologies, return to the fray with a surprisingly melancholy monitor and video for the music, “Grief.” As per the title, the music offers with the array of feelings one grapples with with the lack of a father or mother. Musically, “Grief,”—taken from the outfit’s upcoming full-length, Life—is a hard-hitting, mid-tempo chugger that even manages to seek out its approach right into a stoner steel groove within the solo part. The stark black and white video for the monitor was directed and edited by Travis De Vries and is interspersed with dwell photographs of No Apologies—Pete Abordi (vocals), Peter Bursky (guitar), Andres Hyde (drums), Chris Wilson (guitar), Patrick Taylor (bass).

Life was produced, recorded, combined and mastered by Elliott Gallart at Chameleon Studios, with help from Benjamin Cunningham. It’s set for launch on vinyl and digitally by way of Final Journey Information on Aug 29. Place your preorder right here.

Vocalist Pete Abordi had this to say in regards to the monitor:

“The grief I felt after my father’s passing was in contrast to something I’d ever felt earlier than, extra than simply an emotion it was one thing I may really really feel, as in bodily. Each time I used to be awake it was with me, and the one time I may get away from it was after I went to sleep on the finish of every day. This music delves into these feelings and for anybody experiencing a lack of their very own I feel they’d be capable of relate.”
