“I used to be crying studying the textual content.” Adolescence star Stephen Graham reveals the “stunning” textual content message he acquired from “working class hero” Bruce Springsteen

British actor Stephen Graham, at the moment receiving rave critiques for his function in much-talked-about Netflix drama Adolescence, has revealed {that a} current textual content he acquired from Bruce Springsteen moved him to tears.

Graham performs Springsteen’s father, Douglas “Dutch” Springsteen, within the forthcoming biopic Ship Me From Nowhere, which dramatises the New Jersey singer/songwriter’s life through the making of his 1982 masterpiece Nebraska, and his efficiency clearly gained over ‘The Boss’, as evidenced by the textual content he despatched Graham.

The actor shared the story on Edith Bowman’s podcast Soundtracking, describing the message he acquired from Springsteen as “probably the most beautiful texts I’ve had in my life”.

“I’m racing to get to the airport,” Graham stated, “and I acquired this textual content, and the textual content was so stunning, higher than any award that I may ever obtain in my life.”

Graham went on to explain Springsteen as “an icon… a hero… a working-class hero.”

“His textual content simply stated, ‘Thanks a lot. My father handed away some time in the past and I felt like I noticed him at present and thanks for giving me that reminiscence.’
