On June 27, Sony Music will launch Tracks II: The Misplaced Albums – a 9-LP or 7-CD assortment comprising seven beforehand unreleased full-length albums by Bruce Springsteen.
A type of albums is Faithless, a soundtrack recorded in 2005-6 for a film that was by no means made. Hear the title monitor under:
“This was a very uncommon assortment of songs,” Springsteen remembers. “You would recognise particulars and perhaps a personality or two. However for essentially the most half, I simply wrote atmospheric music that I assumed would match.” The album was recorded primarily as a solo pursuit, with appearances all through by producer Ron Aniello, touring members of The E Avenue Band — Soozie Tyrell, Lisa Lowell, Curtis King Jr, Michelle Moore and Ada Dyer — in addition to contributions from Patti Scialfa, Evan Springsteen and Sam Springsteen.
