The Alice Cooper Band are reuniting for a brand new album, their first collectively since 1973’s Muscle of Love. The album, which can arrive through earMusic on July 25, is produced by Bob Ezrin, who labored on the band’s basic early 70s albums Love It to Demise, Killer, College’s Out and Billion Greenback Infants.
“It was very very similar to this was our subsequent album after Muscle of Love. similar to, ‘OK, that is the subsequent album,’” Cooper tells Billboard. “Isn’t that humorous after 50 years? Rapidly it simply falls into place.”
Becoming a member of Cooper on the album are unique members guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neil Smith, plus Nashville guitarist Gyasi Hues, whereas the presence of guitarist Glen Buxton – who died in 1997 – might be felt on What Occurred to You, which incorporates a riff from an previous Dunaway/Buxton demo, and on a remix of Return Of The Spiders, from 1971’s Simple Motion, which seems on the deluxe version of the brand new album.
