And the gnarliest track title this week goes to Philly demise steel grunt mob Moros, whose new monitor, “Pulling Off Leeches,” we’re, uh, bloody thrilled to premiere. The brand new monitor comes from the band’s upcoming four-song EP, Recrudescent Horror, which was engineered and combined by Jeff Barow at Barowtone Studios in Philadelphia throughout Spring/Summer time 2024, and mastered by A.P. at MSK01. Guitarist/vocalist Jason Dost had this to say in regards to the monitor:
“‘Peeling Off Leeches’ is likely one of the first new songs we labored on with our new drummer Mike. John introduced in some actually slimy riffs for this one and lyrically it’s a wretched story about being engulfed by lethal leeches whereas within the midst of jungle warfare, resulting in a horrifying and suffocating demise.”
