Asian queer pop artist Kenton is sick and bored with maintaining the household secrets and techniques, properly – secret. So what does he do about it? He airs it out in a catchy new pop diddy referred to as “Soiled Laundry” that may infectiously earworm it’s method into your psyche at the moment. “Soiled Laundry” is an sincere and heartfelt little act of revolt that’s positive resonate with a variety of our LGBTQ+ readers.
The fourth and remaining single, “Soiled Laundry,” units the stage for Kenton’s Sweetmouth album launch on Octobrer seventeenth. His lyrical waxing “I’m bringing disgrace upon the household / I’m calling out the reality as I see.” between his cousin in rehab and his questionable auntie, Kenton ponders why he’s seen because the black sheep just because he’s open about his sexuality. He ponders, why “am I the drama?”
“Soiled Laundry” is produced and co-written by Eric Cannata (Younger the Large), combined by Neal Avron (Twenty One Pilots, Sara Bareilles), and mastered by Ruairi O’Flaherty (Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish).
“I’ve all the time felt responsible for placing private issues in my songs, as a result of my father, a pastor, must reply to his congregation about his ‘wild homosexual son.’ My guardian’s biggest worry is that as a result of I work in leisure, I’m going to finish up intercourse trafficked and hooked on medicine.
